Monique Taylor
Monique Taylor is an MPP in Hamilton, Ontario, a long-time community activist, and a leader & friend to our community. She is determined to fight for the services people need and expect from their government.
Monique has been the Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Hamilton Mountain since October 6th, 2011, and was re-elected on June 7, 2014, June 7, 2018, and June 2nd, 2022. At Queen's Park, Monique served as the NDP Critic for Children, Community, and Social Services.
Prior to her election, Monique worked as an assistant to City Councillor Scott Duvall for Ward 7 in the City of Hamilton.
Monique has always focused her work on ways in which governments need to step up for the people of Hamilton and is now looking forward to taking her passion and drive right across Canada.
She would be honoured to continue to serve the good people of Hamilton Mountain by ensuring their voices are being heard at the federal level.
